Hand and Wrist Pain Helped by Naperville Chiropractors

Date

Let’s face it, many of us have jobs where we are typing on a computer for long periods of time or perhaps working manually with our hands.  Whether you are an electrician, musician, pediatrician, or beautician your hands our your livelihood and it is of the upmost importance that we take care of them.  It is because of this that it is not uncommon for patients to come to our clinic for forearm, wrist, and/or hand pain.  Luckily chiropractic care has been very successful in treating conditions involving the upper extremities.

NapervilleChiropractorWristAdjustment

The hand and wrist consist of eight small carpal bones that can be easily injured.  Any time we fall on an outstretched hand we risk injury to these tiny bones or the surrounding soft tissues.  In some cases, chiropractors have been successful in mobilizing certain areas of the wrist through a chiropractic adjustment.  Usually, in the case of a hand or wrist sprain/strain, some type of therapeutic exercise is typically recommended and can be administered by your chiropractor as well.

At Victory Rehab in Naperville IL, we take the time to complete a comprehensive exam to determine if your hand, wrist, elbow, and/or forearm injury is something we could successfully treat in our clinic.
